The “International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao” is held at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf from 14-23 June.
As one of the festival’s three major highlights, the “City of Gastronomy Showcase” brings together chefs from 26 Creative Cities of Gastronomy from across Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceana, as well as North and South America – to conduct some 60 sessions of culinary showcase.
The event fosters concerted development between “tourism + gastronomy” and radiates Macau’s dynamic and strengths as a platform and UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, according to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
The “City of Gastronomy Showcase” is staging six to seven sessions from 3:30 pm to about 10 pm daily until 23 June. For more information about the showcase visit the festival’s website.
Meanwhile, the festival’s “International Gastronomy Promenade” is offering a wide selection of Asian delicacies presented by 100 food stalls, with about 700 catering seats available. In addition, there is a game zone and a seaside bar zone, complete with some lively performances.
