The Macau Baroque Orchestra will stage its “Four Seasons Interactive Baroque Concert” at the Macau Cultural Centre’s Small Auditorium on 22 June.
Sponsored by the SAR’s Cultural Development Fund (FDC), the concert caters to both children’s psychological characteristics and the tastes of classical music enthusiasts, according to the organisers.
The concert will showcase the charm of Baroque music through engaging interactions between emcees, conductor, singers, musicians and the audience.
Children attending the concert are encouraged to dress up in their favourite character costumes – including as princes and princesses, or in colourful costumes, as well as in various themes like flowers, plants and animals, among others.
Conducted by Johann Ho, the concert will run for about one hour and 20 minutes, and is suitable for age 3 and above. Tickets are priced MOP 120-150 and available for purchase from the Macau Ticketing Network. For more information contact 2855 5555. (Gilbert Humphrey)
