Macau’s Tourism Development Committee (CDT) convened the second Plenary Meeting of 2024 on 28 November, which was presided over by the committee’s chairperson, Secretary for Economy and Finance Lei Wai Nong (pictured), who expressed during the plenary meeting his “great anticipation” that the SAR’s total visitor arrivals will reach the goal of 33 million this year.
Macau has welcomed over 29 million visitors in this year’s first ten months, representing a 28.1-per cent year-on-year increase and reaching 87 per cent of the pre-Covid levels of the corresponding period in 2019, according to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
