University of Macau (UM) Vice Rector Rui Martins recently led a delegation to visit several top universities in the United Kingdom as part of the local university’s effort to deepen cooperation and exchanges with higher educational institutions in English-speaking countries.
Furthermore, the UK visit was aimed at promoting cooperation in areas like student and faculty exchanges, dual degree programmes and joint research projects, as well as exploring potential cooperation across various disciplines.
Among the UK universities visited by the UM delegation were University of Warwick, University of Leicester, University of Nottingham, University of Sheffield, University of Leeds, as well as the University of Manchester (pictured).
The delegation also included Sun Handong, associate director of the Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering, and Sin Sai Weng, deputy director of the Institute of Microelectronics.
