The Main Exhibition of the mega international cultural and artistic feat “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale” (Art Macao 2025) will be held at the Macao Museum of Art (MAM) in Nape from 19 July to 19 October.
Themed “Hey, what brings you here?”, Art Macao 2025’s Main Exhibition invites the public to reflect on the history, memory and current complexities of Macau in a global context, as well as explore the nature of life, according to the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC).
The Main Exhibition this year brings together 46 participating artists from 13 countries and regions, showcasing nearly 80 sets/pieces of artworks across 20 independent spaces in the museum.
MAM is located in the Macau Cultural Centre (CCM) complex on Avenida Xian Xing Hai. It is open daily except Monday, from 10 am to 7 pm (no admission after 6:30 pm). Admission is free.
Organised by IC and co-organised by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) as well as the SAR’s six integrated resort companies, in collaboration with Chief Curator Feng Boyi, Art Macao 2025 runs from this month through October, with nearly 30 exhibitions scheduled to be held across the city.
