The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), representing the Macau SAR, attended the 65th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Tourism Working Group Meeting in Incheon, South Korea from 29-31 July, during which the tourism office presented Macau’s work to foster its development as a world centre of tourism and leisure through the sectors of “tourism +” and exchanged ideas with representatives of APEC’s member economies on the outlook of tourism, which elevated Macau’s influence and engagement with international tourism organisations. 

The APEC Tourism Working Group convenes two meetings annually, which MGTO regularly attends on behalf of Macau, China as a guest economy. This year, MGTO Deputy Director Jennifer Si Tou led the delegation.
