A £2.3-BILLION RAIL BRIDGE SET TO CONNECT SINGAPORE AND MALAYSIA IN JUST SIX MINUTES EXPECTED TO BE OPERATIONAL IN JANUARY 2027

A £2.3-billion rail bridge between Singapore and the Malaysian state of Johor – named RTS Link project – is expected to start operating on 1 January 2027, cutting the journey time between the two places from the current four hours to merely six minutes, according to various media reports.
