Town officials in Fujikawaguchiko, Japan have decided to construct a 20 x 2.5-metre black screen to block the iconic view of Mount Fuji behind a Lawson convenience store in a bid to fight over-tourism. According to a town official, some tourists do “not respect rules”, littering around the area and ignoring traffic regulations, as reported by various media groups.
