Hong Kong Disneyland will launch what will be the world’s first and largest themed land based on the movie Frozen on 20 November, when its own version of Kingdom of Arendelle will be unfrozen to its fans and visitors. Called “World of Frozen”, the new land will offer incredible landscapes and enchanting music accompanying great stories, with rides and events including Playhouse in the Woods, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, Summer Snow Day and Frozen Ever After.
“We are committed to continually delivering new and innovative offerings so that our guests can enjoy a magical experience with each and every visit to the resort – we can’t wait for them to explore the kingdom of Arendelle,” Hong Kong Disneyland Managing Director Michael Moriarty said recently, as reported by various media groups.
The new attraction’s announcement coincided with the theme park’s 18th anniversary. Hong Kong Disneyland opened its doors to visitors for the first time at 1 pm on 12 September 2005. (Wong Kin Ang)
