The Macao Museum of Art (MAM) in Nape is currently showcasing around 200 pieces and sets of Chinese paintings, calligraphic works and seal carvings in an exhibition titled “A Gathering of Treasures – The 70th Anniversary Art Exhibition of the Yu Un Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association of Macao”. Since its establishment in 1953, the association has been committed to passing on and advocating the art of Chinese calligraphy, painting and seal carving. Among the respectable veteran artists whose works are displayed in the exhibition are Chui Tak Kei, Deng Fen, Luo Shuzhong, Situ Qi, Gan Heng, Lin Jin and U Kuan Wai. The exhibition is held on the fourth floor of MAM and runs until 30 July. For more information visit MAM’s website.
