TeamLab SuperNature Macao, a permanent interactive art experience at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo held its grand opening ceremony on 26 May, marking the official launch of the landmark project presented by The Venetian Macao and Tokyo-based international art collective TeamLab.
TeamLab SuperNature Macao is an extremely complex, three-dimensional interactive space with varying elevations spanning over 5,000 square metres and comprising enormous eight-metre-tall works by art collective TeamLab. A “body immersive” art space centred around a group of artworks, the attraction explores new perceptions of the world and the continuity between humans and nature, where visitors can change the nature of the works in real time, directly affecting artworks spaces through synergistic interaction – previous visual states can never reoccur or be replicated, making no two visits the same.
