Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau will again host “Macanese Nights 2024”, a culinary celebration that showcases the rich gastronomic heritage unique to Macau, at the Nape hotel’s Café Bela Vista for nine evenings in October, with guest special Guest Chef Antonieta Manhão (better-known simply as Chef Neta) and Café Bela Vista’s Executive Chef Pedro Santos do Carmo ready to again impress guests with a curated menu that captures the essence of Macau’s iconic flavours.
The Macanese Nights 2024 will take place for three weeks, from 8 to 10, 15 to 17, as well as 22 to 24 October, according to a press conference held at Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau earlier this week.
Chef Neta (pictured, second from right) said: “As a long-standing advocate for Macanese cuisine, I am overjoyed to participate in ‘Macanese Nights 2024’ again. This year holds a special significance as Macau embraces its new title as ‘Culture City of East Asia 2025’. I am excited to introduce a few new dishes in this edition.”
Commenting on his third collaboration with the famous Macanese chef, Chef Pedro (pictured, second from left) said, “Her culinary expertise and knowledge continue to inspire me. I’m so excited to see her new dishes being added to ‘Macanese Nights 2024’ signature dishes, such as Porco Bafassá, Minchi with Borato, Paozinho Recheado, Chicken Congee and Cheese Toast, which will elevate the flavours and diversity of traditional Macanese cuisine.”
Meanwhile, the press conference was also attended by Area Vice President, Macau and Hengqin Operations for Artyzen Hospitality Group and Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau General Manager Rutger Verschuren (pictured, left) as well as Brotherhood of Macanese Gastronomy President Carlos Alberto Anok Cabral (pictured, right).
