About two to three typhoons are predicted to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) this month, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has announced.
In addition, up to three typhoons are also expected between August and October, said PAGASA Weather Specialist Glaiza Escullar, while one or two more typhoons are predicted to enter the PAR from November to December, according to various Philippine media reports.
