Some 2.4 million people in Thailand have experienced medical issues related to air pollution since the beginning of this year as the Southeast Asian country continues to fight its ongoing air quality problem, according to the country’s health officials. Recently, capital city Bangkok and the northern city of Chiang Mai were included in the world’s current top 10 most polluted cities, according to air quality technology company IQAir, which specialises in protection against airborne pollutants, developing air quality monitoring and air cleaning products.
