Cabo Verde Digital, through Pro Empresa, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding on a collaboration with Macau’s 929 Challenge aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and boosting the startups ecosystem in Cabo Verde, as well as encouraging the participation of Cape Verdean startups in the 929 Challenge event set to be held in Macau in October this year. Cabo Verde Digital is a government programme promoting values of entrepreneurship and innovation in a community benefiting from a unique geographical positioning and aims to create a leading digital hub to serve Africa’s growing tech scene. The 929 Challenge is a startup competition focused on building bridges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries through sustainability-oriented business.
