The Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) announced earlier this week that the criteria to purchase a residential unit at Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) in Hengqin has been adjusted, including the removal of age limit and the five-year sale restriction.
MNN is open for all Macau resident ID card holders to purchase.
In addition, the changes include adjusting the calculation of the amount of residential unit that one can purchase, which means that eligible Macau residents are no longer bound by the restriction where a married couple is counted as one unit, according to the MUR.
The changes were made effective on Wednesday.
The measure to improve and adjust MNN’s sales criteria has been approved by the Executive Committee of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and published by the Zone’s Urban Planning and Construction Bureau.
