Macau’s latest e-consumption scheme, which was launched last year, will come to an end on 28 February, and any amount from the funds not used by this date would be returned to the public coffers, the local government announced earlier this week. However, the one-off “Living Subsidy” of MOP 8,000 can still be spent until 30 June, with those who have signed up for this subsidy but still has not finished their e-consumption funds by 28 February will receive the MOP 8,000 from 2 March through the same method when they signed up to receive the e-consumption benefits, The Macau Post Daily reported.
