The “Experience Macao Roadshow in Madrid” kicked off in Spain yesterday.
The roadshow will run until 21 April, showcasing Macau’s appeal in tourism, culture, trade and sports, among others, according to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
Several activities will be conducted in tandem with the large-scale promotional event, including a gastronomy showcase and a session for travel trade, to raise Macau’s profile as a travel destination in Spain and expand international visitor source markets.
This mega promotional event is jointly organised by the Macau SAR Government and the Chinese Embassy in Spain, and coordinated by MGTO, with the support of the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), Sports Bureau (ID), Economic Development Bureau of Hengqin, China National Tourist Office in Madrid, China Cultural Center in Madrid, as well as the Government of Moncloa-Aravaca District in Madrid.
Participant entities include the SAR’s six integrated resort companies, along with Air China, Air Macau, the Spanish travel booking platform B Travel and the travel agency Halcón Viajes. More details can be found via this link.
