The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) launched its “Fado Nights” programme at the Dom Pedro V Theatre earlier this month and the programme will return for a second round at the same venue from 29 March to 5 May, featuring Portuguese Fado singers Francisco Moreira and Marta de Sousa.

The upcoming Fado Nights concerts will be held from 7-8 pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Like the first time it was held, the music event will include an exhibition about Fado’s history, which will be held in the Theatre Gallery, showcasing musical instruments, music albums and newspaper clippings, among other exhibits, according to an IC press release.

Tickets for the Fado Nights concerts are on sale from 3 pm today via the Macau Ticketing Network, as well as from 5 pm today through Damai (mainland China) platform. Tickets are priced at MOP 200 and RMB 180. For more information about the programme visit IC’s website. (Wong Kin Ang)
