Grande Hotel Macau, which was originally opened in 1941 and closed in the mid 1990s, has been refurbished and was recently reopened. The hotel is located on Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro in the Inner Harbour. Currently, 96 rooms are open to guests as the renovation project continues. When the renovation is fully completed, the nine-storey property built in 1937 will eventually offer a total of 124 guestrooms, with 16 rooms on each floor. The hotel is now owned by Casa Hotel Management Limited, which acquired the property two years ago, according to a report by The Macau Post Daily.
