A new Indonesian grocery store in Taipa, “Global”, has opened recently, making life easier for local Indonesians looking for some of their country’s products.
The “Global” store in Taipa is located in Av. Dr. Sun Yat Sen, about several metres away from the Seng Cheong Supermarket.
Previously, people in Taipa looking for Indonesian products had to travel to the Three Lamps District (known as Sam Can Tang) or the city’s main thoroughfare San Ma Lo.
“Now we don’t need to go to Sam Can Tang to buy Indonesian stuff, so I’m very happy,” a local Indonesian homemaker named Janet Kalalo told Good News Macau. (Wong Kin Ang)
