The “SAMAJAM, you are the show!”, An interactive musical performance that involves participation from the audience, will be held at the MacPherson Stadium in Mong Kok, Hong Kong on 2-3 December.
Featuring two dynamic and humorous musical superhero characters, called SAM & AJAM, the show combines interactive participation, musical learning, rhythmic challenges, video games and comedic sketches through the exploration of various songs and rhythms. It has been designed for children and youths.
Together with SAM & AJAM, spectators will create collective rhythms as they participate in musical games, celebrating cultural diversity by learning rhythms from various regions of the world and turning everyone into the show’s music stars. The show has been touring since 2017 and presented over 1,500 times in eight countries, with more than one million tickets sold up to today.
This family-friendly show’s journey began in 1994, when its founder Louis Bellemare established the SAMAJAM Percussion School, which has since grown to become Canada’s largest percussion school.
