Various Macau artists are currently showcasing their work in an exhibition, entitled “Watching the Tide: 25 Years of Macau Contemporary Art”, held at the Jinwan Art Centre in the neighbouring Zhuhai.

Organised by Jinwan Art Centre, the exhibition kicked off on 14 November 2024 and will run until 5 January 2025. It is held in the centre’s C Hall Art Gallery.

The exhibition strives to look at Macau, through the participating artists’ eyes, as a “magical place where cultures blend and where East meets West, and where tradition and modernity are in dialogue”, according to the organiser.

Furthermore, the exhibition is a research on Macau’s contemporary art scene and development since the city’s return to the motherland.

The exhibition is open from 10:30 am to 8 pm daily except Mondays and public holidays. For more information click this link
