The Macau International Comedy Festival – “The Robbery” Cantonese Version Stage Play will be held at Galaxy Macau’s Galaxy Auditorium on 15-17 March. Produced by Theatre Valley and Real Atypical Omnipotent, the two-hour performance is a dark comedy created by renowned director and playwright Rao Xiaozhi in 2009, which explores interpersonal relationships and life dilemmas in modern society in a lighthearted and satirical way.
The play has toured multiple cities and received the “Outstanding Original Play Award” at the 2nd National Drama Culture Awards. In addition, the director won the “Best Director Award” at the 9th Golden Lion Awards for Drama in 2014 for this play. Tickets are priced at MOP 200-770.
