An event titled “Children’s Funday” was scheduled to take place at the Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) in Hengqin on 1 June in celebration of the World Children’s Day but it was cancelled due to bad weather – the event is now set to be held from 10 am to 6 pm this Saturday, according to Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR).
This circus-themed event will take place at MNN Lotus Square, featuring outdoor large-scale interactive games, instant-print photo booth, live band performances, science shows, night light painting workshops and market stalls, among others.
Meanwhile, MNN activities celebrating Lantern Festival and International Women’s Day have attracted more than 1,000 visits in the first quarter of this year.
