The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has recently launched the “University Student Cultural Ambassador Exchange Tour”, in search of about 25 to 30 students who will be promoting Chinese culture in South Korea and Japan, and the bureau has now extended the registration period to 18 September.
Macau residents aged 18-25 who are studying at higher education institutions are welcome to register for this unique opportunity, with the selected participants to embark on the exchange tour between October and November, according to IC.
The tour will comprise three stages: attending cultural courses in Macau, engaging in cultural exchanges with youths from Anseong City (South Korea) and Kamakura City (Japan), as well as travelling to Anseong City and Kamakura City for on-site visits.
The selected Macau students will specifically serve as cultural ambassadors to promote Chinese culture and tell the stories of China, both during the exchanges in Macau and the visits to South Korea and Japan. For more information about the programme visit IC’s website. – GNM
