T Theatre will present its annual production, titled “Play Together”, at the T Theatre on 12-13 January 2024. “Play Together” brings together artists from Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Macau, each with distinct choreographic practices. They pose a simple, fundamental question: Despite our differences, will we walk this journey together?, according to the theatre group.
The artists will convene through a medium known as “choreographic games.” These games blend Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) elements with choreographic practices to facilitate genuine interactions among the artists. LARP, a form of role-playing game, allows participants to enact various scenarios. In these scenarios, dances are created (expressed through body language) to achieve predefined objectives, making LARP a microcosm for world-building. This project intertwines imagination and reality, where neither exists in isolation or opposition, but rather as an entangled state of truth. Tickets are priced MOP 150.
