THE SOUND OF MUSIC TO BE STAGED AT MACAO CULTURAL CENTRE FROM 10-22 AUGUST

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) will present 16 shows of the musical “The Sound of Music”, an international tour produced by Broadway International Group and Broadway Asia, in the Grand Auditorium of the Macao Cultural Centre (CCM) in Nape from 10-22 August. 

In a new production conceived by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien, The Sound of Music features an international company of leading performers and young stars in the roles of the Von Trapp family. The musical is famous for the songs like “Do-Re-Mi”, “My Favourite Things” and “Climb Every Mountain”.

The tour is led by Jill-Christine Wiley (Maria Rainer), Trevor Martin (Captain von Trapp), Daniel Fullerton (Rolf), Lauren Kidwell (Mother Abbess), Joshua La Force (Maximillian Detweiler), Lauren O’Brien (Liesl) and Gail Bennett (Elsa Schraeder). 

The Sound of Music shows at the CCM are supported by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Bank of China, Air Macau and TurboJet. Tickets are priced from MOP 380-880. For more information about the show and ticketing visit IC’s website or the CCM’s website.
