Typhoon Signal No. 1 is still in effect as affected by Severe Tropical Storm Man-yi, with the possibility of hoisting stronger Signal No. 3 between this evening and early Tuesday morning being medium to relatively high, according to the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG).
The bureau has pointed out that, according to the latest forecast track, Man-Yi will come closest to Macau tomorrow, passing about 350 km south of the SAR.
The storm is forecasted to move across the northern part of the South China Sea and then turn to move southwestwards and weaken gradually. For more information about the local weather visit SMG’s website.
