The University of Macau (UM) and the University of Cambridge’s Clare Hall co-hosted the “First Clare Hall, University of Cambridge – University of Macau Forum 2025” at the UM Campus on Monday, discussing the theme of “Interdisciplinary Approaches to Advancing Sustainable Development: Innovative Solutions to Global Challenges”, according to a press release issued by the local university.
In addition, during the forum, both universities renewed their cooperation agreement on the Cambridge Clare Hall Visiting Fellowship Programme, which aims to deepen interdisciplinary collaboration in the humanities, social sciences and technology.
The renewed cooperation agreement was signed by UM Rector Song Yonghua (pictured, right) and Alan Short (left), president of Clare Hall of the University of Cambridge. – GNM
