Gui Changfeng, chair professor and head of the Department of Mathematics in the University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Science and Technology, was recently elected as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), an esteemed scientific society.
The lifetime fellowship honour awarded to the UM professor is not only a testament to Gui’s research achievements but also an international recognition of his outstanding contributions to the global scientific community, according to a statement from the local university.
