UM TO HOLD LANGUAGE AND CULTURE DAY ON 27 MARCH

CULTURE BUREAU TO PRESENT CONTEMPORARY CIRCUS ‘KNITTING PEACE’ BY SWEDEN’S CIRKUS CIRKÖR IN MARCH 
2ND MACAO INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S ARTS FESTIVAL WILL RUN FROM NEXT MONTH TO AUGUST 
REGISTRATION FOR SANDS SHOPPING CARNIVAL’S KARAOKE AND DANCE CONTESTS STILL OPEN – UNTIL 20 JUNE

The University of Macau (UM) will hold the “UM Language and Culture Day 2024” at the UM Hengqin Campus’s E21A Lobby on 27 March. Organised by the university’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), the language and culture day this year will again be themed “Cherish Mother Tongues, Embrace All Cultures”, with a series of exciting activities including the opening ceremony and culture and language workshops on that day, from 1-3 pm, as well as the “Cultural Treasure Hunt”, which will run until 16 April. The event comes with various prizes, such as AirPods. The event will be open to the public. For more information visit the UM’s website
