Macau’s Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) has confirmed that the current typhoon signal no. 3 will be replaced by signal no. 8 between 8 pm and 11 pm tonight as Super Typhoon Yagi continues to move closer to the region.
As of 2 pm, Super Typhoon Yagi was estimated to be about 370km South-southeast of Macau. It is forecast to move West-northwest at around 12km/h towards the vicinity areas between the western coast of Guangdong and Hainan Island. For more updates visit the weather bureau’s website (www.smg.gov.mo).
