Miss Hong Kong 2021 Sabrina Mendes has recently graduated from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) with a master’s degree in medical sciences, the 25-year-old Macanese beauty queen whose real name is Sabina Mendes de Assunção shared her latest academic achievement in her Instagram post.
“Now I’m one degree hotter,” she says in her Instagram post. “Mastering this degree was not just an academic journey but a marathon of perseverance, passion and personal growth.”
Sabrina adds: “Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way and I am so super grateful for everyone who came to celebrate this special moment! It means the world to me.”
Her HKU graduation was attended by some of family members, including her mother Micaela Mendes, who came second in the Miss Macau 1990 pageant, which happened to be won by her aunty Alexanda Paula Costa Mendes.
Meanwhile, Sabrina also holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and human biology from the University of Toronto, according to a report by Dimsum Daily. (Gilbert Humphrey)
