The Macau Art For All Society (AFA) is currently presenting young local artist Kun Wang Tou’s solo exhibition, entitled “Artificial Landscape – New Media Art Exhibitions Series I: Datascape – Post Photographic Art in Digital Era”, at The Parisian Macao’s shopping mall, Level 3, Shop 353B.

The exhibition’s opening ceremony took place yesterday.

Curated by local artist and art curator Alice Kok, the exhibition is produced by Wu Xi Xia as an annual programme of AFA this year. This is the art group’s debut contemporary art exhibition at The Parisian Macao’s shopping mall.

The exhibition displays a series of Kun’s recent works, showcasing his exploration of the “ever-evolving realm of image-making in this digitally saturated era”, according to AFA.

Kun was born in Macau in 1996. His artistic journey reflects in “intersection of socio-cultural observations, artistic expression, technological advancements and philosophical inquiry”, the art group points out.

The exhibition is open from noon to 7 pm daily until 30 September. For more information visit AFA’s website or Facebook page. (Gilbert Humphrey)
