EX CEO OF DEFUNCT VIVA MACAU APPOINTED OMAN AIR CHIEF

Australian career airline executive Con Korfiatis was recently appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Muscat-based Oman Air, according to an online report by Airways Magazine. Korfiatis was previously the founding CEO of Saudi Arabian low-cost airline flyadeal (2016-2023), vice president of Indonesian low-cost carrier Citilink (2011-2012), as well as CEO of the now-defunct local carrier VIVA Macau Air (2006-2009). In addition, he held various leading positions in Qantas, Jetstar Asia Airways, Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and the defunct Ansett Australia.
