The first direct flight from mainland China to Bali since February 2020 arrived at the Indonesian island’s Ngurah Rai airport on 22 January, the first day of Chinese New Year, with Indonesian carrier Lion Air’s charter flight bringing in 210 passengers from Shenzhen to Denpasar, who were personally welcomed by I Wayan Koster, governor of Bali Province, according to several Indonesian media reports.
