Hong Kong Observatory issued Storm Signal No. 9 at 6:20 pm as winds from the incoming Super Typhoon Saola are expected to increase and impact the neighbouring SAR significantly. Meanwhile, Macau’s Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) may replace the current Typhoon Signal No. 8 with Signal No. 9 between 9 pm tonight and midnight.
