The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) will issue Typhoon Signal No. 9 at 11 pm as Super Typhoon Saola is nearing Macau and the bureau may hoist Typhoon Signal No. 10 in the early morning of 2 September. The public are advised to take precautions against strong winds and flooding, as well as pay attention to the latest weather information.
