Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai will deliver the 2026 Policy Address at the Legislative Assembly (AL) on 18 November, with the session scheduled to start at 3 pm, followed by a press conference at the Macau SAR Government Headquarters at 5:30 pm, where the chief executive will answer questions from the press, according to the Government Information Bureau (GCS).
In addition, Sam will attend a plenary meeting at AL at 3 pm on 19 November to explain the government’s policy programme and take questions from AL members.
The public can watch and hear the Policy Address and subsequent press conference – and the following day’s question-and-answer session with AL members – via live broadcast on the television channels and radio service of public broadcaster TDM, or online via the three Facebook pages of GCS in English (www.facebook.com/macaogcsen), Chinese (www.facebook.com/macaogcs) or Portuguese (www.facebook.com/macaogcspt).
The schedule for the AL meetings to debate policy guidelines are as follows: the administrative and judicial affairs sector on 21 November, the economy and finance sector on 24 November, the security sector on 26 November, the social and cultural affairs sector on 28 November, as well as the transport and public works sector on 1 December.
