MACAU-WIDE CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED TODAY 

South Korean flutist Jasmine Choi, soprano Lee Myung-Joo and conductor Sunwook Kim, who is the music director of Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra, will be collaborating with the Macao Orchestra to present a romantic night of music entitled “Concert of Love in Seoul” that will take place at The Venetian Theatre in Cotai on 15 February. 

The concert is jointly presented by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), Macao Orchestra Company and Sands China. 

Furthermore, the 1.5-hour concert is part of the Sands China Performing Arts Programme, which is the event’s title sponsor. 

Hailed as “The Goddess of Flute”, Choi is acclaimed as “one of ten best flutists in the history of music” by British publication Sinfini Magazine. She is the first Korean principal flute of the Wiener Symphoniker (Vienna Symphony Orchestra). Choi first performed with the Macao Orchestra in 2023. 

The Macao Orchestra 2024-25 Concert Season is co-organised by IC, Macao Orchestra Company and the SAR’s six integrated resort companies, with the support of Bank of China (Macau Branch).
