Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) attended the 64th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Tourism Working Group Meeting in Malaysia from 15-17 October, during which the local tourism office presented Macau’s work in optimising visitors’ experience through innovative technology as well as exchanged ideas with representatives from other Asia-Pacific economies. 

The APEC Tourism Working Group (TWG) convenes two meetings annually. 

After MGTO’s participation in the 63rd APEC TWG Meeting in Peru in June this year, MGTO Deputy Director Ricky Hoi once again led a delegation representing Macao, China as Guest Economy, which included a representative from DSEDT. The 64th APEC TWG Meeting was held in Langkawi.
