Two scientists, Hungarian Katalin Kariko and American Drew Weissman, recently won the 2023 Nobel Prize for Medicine. They received the Nobel Prize for their mRNA molecule discoveries that led to Covid-19 vaccines. The prize comes with about US$1 million to share between the two, according to various media reports.
