Total spending of visitors (excluding gaming expenses) dropped by 23.5 per cent year-on-year to MOP 4.83 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, owing to a decrease in the number of visitor arrivals. Total spending of overnight visitors (MOP 4.12 billion) and same-day visitors (MOP 709 million) fell by 19.6 per cent and 40.3 per cent year-on-year, respectively, according to the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC)
