Xie Ying, who has been appointed by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, arrived in Macau on 31 October to replace Ding Tian as the deputy secretary general of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macau) – otherwise known simply as Forum Macao.
Xie previously served in the Economic and Commercial Department of the Chinese Embassy in Brazil, Department of Europe Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce of China, and the Department for Human Resource Management of MOFCOM.
