Local flag carrier Air Macau has recently launched a new route to Kuala Lumpur, with the first flight from the Malaysian capital arriving in Macau on 10 January. The airline’s newest route is expected to boost visitations from Southeast Asia. According to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Malaysia is Macau’s fifth biggest international visitor market.
