WhatsApp users can now have a conversation with hugely popular AI chatbot ChatGPT directly via the messaging app as part of OpenAI’s plan to broaden access to artificial intelligence (AI).
The launch is expected to entice new users to ChatGPT with any of WhatsApp’s approximately 2.7 billion users around the world now able to chat with the AI tool, according to various media reports.
WhatsApp users can chat with ChatGPT by adding the number +1 1800 242 8478 to their contacts. The ChatGPT function on WhatsApp only supports text conversations and has a knowledge cutoff of September 2021.
