The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) is today launching new parent-child workshops on various topics in the “Star on Coast” area at the NAPE waterfront. The “Star on Coast” is an integrated area incorporating many different functions and elements like children’s play, leisure, sport, catering, art, culture and popular science activities. From today IAM will host two parent-child workshop sessions every Saturday and Sunday, as well as on public holidays, from 3-5 pm.
The June workshops include DIY eco-friendly bag, DIY hand puppets, diamond stickers, colourful snow clay egg, mosaic coaster, small solar-powered car, self-made bubble machine, assembling electric stegosaurus, button pictures, hand-painted T-shirt, self-made handheld electric torches and paper pulp pictures. In addition, some workshops will be festival-themed, such as trophy for daddy, self-made shirt and tie, dragon boat collage, self-made dumplings, self-made dragon heads and knitting dragon boats.
